Philosophy from a Christian Perspective
Philosophy from a Christian Perspective

We unabashedly claim to be Christian in both name and deed. The name part is easy, we simply claim it. The deed part is more difficult since we must first know our goals and then strive for them. We present some areas that are not frequently discussed and are currently very out of the norm, including within Christian entities.

As with all of our philosophy articles, we are interested in a serious exchange of views. We seek reasoned challenges, clarifications and encouragement via email at Philosophy@ShofarPartners.com.

Hierarchical Authority StructuresHierarchical Authority Structures
We examine how much weight the structure given by Jethro, which does not carry the weight of “Thus saith the LORD”, should be compared to family divisions.
We assert that the ideal model, and the Lord’s preference, is a family hierarchy and not the organizational hierarchy.
What does the Lord command about Paydays? What does the Lord command about Paydays?

We assert that the Lord has commanded that a wage earner be paid the day the wages are earned, and not on a weekly or longer pay period. If this is true then the vast majority of organizations, businesses, and churches that claim a Christian or Jewish heritage are in violation of the Lord’s command.

We examine some of the causes of the status quo and address our methods to meet or exceed the Lord’s command.
